Texture Printing

Using 9 layers of ink, we can build up layer upon layer, to create a print that has both texture and depth. For example, we have recently produced lino flooring with printed mosaic tiles that look and feel like actual tiles, with the associated grout lines, as well as brickwork wallpaper that has a concrete feel and look.

Multilayer Printing

Utilising the specialist cameras installed on both of our 5m wide print machines, we can produce a variety of backlit print options. These include day/night printing, where we print your image on the front and rear of the media, so that during daytime hours, and when fully illuminated, the colours are consistent. Using this same method, we also have the ability to produce prints with selective illumination. Instead of printing the same image on the rear, we will print a full 4-colour black to all the areas that you do not wish to illuminate, and any colour for the illuminated sections. This enables your logo/main point of interest to ‘pop’ during nighttime hours.

Finally, using this front/back print method, we have the ability of sandwiching two images with differing colours, so that when your display is illuminated, you can show either a different colour or change the scenery to a nighttime view.

Clear Coat

Our 5m EFI Q5r machines are able to print a clear coat laminate in either gloss or matte to add protection and punch to your graphic. Due to this being printed, we are able to specify which areas of your print are enhanced using this clear coat feature.
